I loved New York and I absolutely had the best time ever! Ellen is a doll and spoiled us all rotten. There were only about 90 of us that went plus Ellen, her two guests and her crew of about 15 on a plane that sits 300. We danced our booties off, too! After the taping ended, we had a choice of filet mignon or broiled salmon for our meals and they were yum-ee! All drinks were free (and free-flowing!) as well as the onboard movies that are usually for purchase.
We also received an AMEX flight bag that contained awesome noise cancelling headphones, “Ellen Eyes” eye mask, earplugs, a flight blanket, a disposable camera and a neck pillow. Once we landed at JFK, Ellen then told us that she wanted our trip to be as stress free as possible, so upon arrival at our hotel, we would be getting free facials, massages, pedicures and manicures! Boy, did she ever get a cheer for that! Then, to top it off, she gave each one of us a $100 AMEX gift card for us to spend however we like. Our hotel was in the heart of Manhattan, two blocks from Time Square and one block from Central Park. I had a great view of Central Park from my hotel, too! I took pictures of the taping and everything else as well. Feel free to take a look. You’ll definitely get a much better idea of what we did. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and I am so glad I had the opportunity to go and see Ellen, too! If you want to see more, the show airs tomorrow, May 22nd. Keep an eye out for me!
